The only text you'll need to begin with is Athenaze: an Introduction to Ancient Greek, second edition, which is available at the Bay Tree Bookstore.
Be in class every time, on time, with all assignments prepared. We will have frequent quizzes on vocabulary, morphology, and syntax. Grades will be based on quizzes (25%), midterm (20%), final (25%), and class participation and preparedness (30%). Assignments will be posted regularly on our assignments page.
Office hours will be Tuesday 12 p.m. - 1 p.m. in 240 Cowell, and by appointment. The best way to reach me outside of office hours is by email, at jklynn@ucsc.edu.
