The only text you'll need to begin with is Athenaze: an Introduction to Ancient Greek, second edition, which is available at the Literary Gullotine.

Class Requirements

Be in class every time, on time, with all assignments prepared. We will have frequent quizzes on vocabulary, morphology, and syntax. Grades will be based on quizzes (25%), midterm (20%), final on Wednesday December 12 at 8 a.m. (25%), and class participation and preparedness (30%).

Assignments will also be posted regularly on our assignments page.

Office Hours and Contact Info

Office hours will be Tuesday from 12:30-2:30 in 230 Cowell, beginning 09/25, and by appointment. The best way to reach me outside of office hours is by email, at jklynn@ucsc.edu.
