- Monday January 5 First Day of Class
- Wednesday January 7 Read through all of chapter 11α. Fill out the Chapter 11α Verb Synopsis worksheet for λείπω, and do exercises 11δ and 11ε. Learn the principal parts of the 15 verbs on page 181 and the new second-aorist active and middle forms on page 177.
- Friday January 9 Finish 11ζ if you didn't do so in class. Read through chapter 11β and read the first three paragraphs of the story that begins it. Learn the principal parts of the verbs with second aorists in 11α and 11β; quiz on these on Monday.
- Monday January 12 Quiz on the verbs listed in 11α and 11β (list here and sample of quiz here). Do exercises 11ι and 11μ. Read the chapter 12α culture section, "Trade and Travel."

Wednesday January 14 Finish the story that begins chapter 12α. Study chapters 11 and 12 vocabulary! Read through the chapter and begin to learn the new first aorist forms. Do exercises 12γ and 12ε. Practice identifying participle tenses (present, future, and aorist) with quizlet Athenaze Chapter 11α and β Participle Tense Practice: http://quizlet.com/65745056/flashcards. Make sure to shuffle the cards or it's not going to be much practice!

Friday January 30 Do the practice quiz and εἶμι and εἰμί practice quiz on our "Assignments" page in eCommons. Read through chapter 15α and learn the new athematic second aorist forms. How do they differ from thematic second aorists like ἔλιπον? Read the story that begins chapter 15α.
