Texts

The only required texts are Athenaze: an Introduction to Ancient Greek, second edition, volumes 1 and 2, which are available at the Bay Tree Bookstore.

Class Requirements

Be in class every time, on time, with all assignments prepared. We will have frequent quizzes on vocabulary, morphology, and syntax. Grades will be based on quizzes (25%), midterm (20%), final exam (25%), and class participation and preparedness (30%).

Assignments will also be posted regularly on our assignments page.

Office Hours and Contact Info

Office hours will be Tuesday from 12 - 2 p.m. in 240 Cowell, and by appointment. The best way to reach me outside of office hours is by email, at jklynn@ucsc.edu.
